Speechius
Product Hunt: Speechius — The teleprompter that actually listens
What is the idea?
A teleprompter that follows your voice instead of a clock: it scrolls to where you actually are, stops when you stop, and skips ahead when you skip a sentence.
Who would use it, and what do they get?
Anyone filming themselves alone with no crew; the deliverable is a take they do not have to shoot again.
What is missing today?
Every teleprompter on the market either scrolls at a fixed rate or needs a hand on a remote. Following a real speaker in real time needs accented streaming speech alignment, which only became cheap enough to give away this year.
What makes this one different?
Stop selling the prompter and sell 'is this take usable': the moment you stop recording, mark the sentences you dropped and the seconds you swallowed words, and say whether to keep it. Cold start (Chinese): 小红书 「口播 提词器」「录课 卡壳」 tags; (English): the 'I re-record every take' threads in r/NewTubers.
What could kill it?
This is a feature, not a company — BIGVU and PromptSmart already have voice tracking, and a phone maker or an editing suite absorbs it in one release.
Who pays, and for what?
Teachers filming their own lessons, single-operator sellers, in-house trainers. Subscription.
What is the main risk?
Too thin a layer — swallowed by the editing software people already open next.
How much work is it?
about two weeks of work
